The first thing employer see when you apply for a job is your cover letter. Impressive cover letter is one of the prime reasons why you called for an interview.

Limit your cover letter to one page, if it is more than one , reader may feel lost.

Start with some polished words, avoid using weak words like "Please .. "I beg"
Don't say: "Since I have my bachelors please consider me for the position..."
Say : "With the knowledge and experience I gained for the past four years makes me an excellent candidate for the job you posted.

Your focus should be on the job you are applying, how you meet an employer's needs. Here avoid the perception of being self-centered by minimizing your use of the word "I," especially at the beginning of your sentences.

Cover letter stays on the top of resume, they should be independent with each other, I mean avoid using the same words.

A big MNC will have lot of job openings, stress on the job title you are applying for and make sure you are sending the right cover letter. Check at least twice before you send.

Definitely you have to leave your phone number and email address for them to contact, you can also say I can follow up with you with couple weeks for the possible consideration or any preliminary questions if you have.
